Hi y’all. We are new to campers and are looking at a new Airstream 25FB. I’d like some opinions on this particular model. We haven’t taken delivery yet. Thanks

Hello Cobra7: Welcome to Air Forums. The new models have several interior floor plans with pluses and minuses of each. Most folks recommend you visit the dealer with the model and layout you might like and then just sit in the thing a pretend you are fixing dinner, or loading items in the fridge, or you are taking a shower, getting ready in the morning, pretend you are getting up in the middle of the night to go, pretend you are making the bed, pretend you are loading the compartments with items you figure you will take traveling with you. Spend at least an hour doing this so you are convinced the trailer will suit your needs for the long run.

Folks here debate a particular model and layout all the time. What works for some is less desirable for others for various reasons.

I will say the 25' trailers are very popular. It is a rather ideal size. Pretty easy to handle, yet pretty roomy for a long vacation. We're retired and like our twin beds; comfortable and pretty easy to make.

We full time in our 25fb with twins. If we were able to do it again I might go with 27fb twin or 28 twin but after our remodel it's hard to justify.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

We have had two 25FB's (a 2005 and a 2015) over the past twelve years. We now are approaching 1,900 nights of Airstream camping all over the United States and Canada. This floor plan has worked well for us, even on trips that were over 90 days in length.

A new 25 is guarenteed to get you a brace of trout if you let it take you camping close to the White River. Enjoy the new magic carpet ride. Pat

Thanks for the feedback y’all. We will be using it mostly at Greer’s Ferry Lake in Heber Springs. Probably catch a few trout in the Red River also.

My folks retired in Eureka Springs, Ak years ago. Dad loved fishing bass in the White River. We visited them a couple times a year. I think it was the best time of their lives. The Ozarks are one of my favorite places.

We got us a permanent campsite right on the Red River today. Can’t wait to catch a few trout.
