New Member & Motorhome owner

Howdy folks, The wife and I just bought our first motorhome. It is a 1994 Airstream Land Yacht 35' diesel pusher with 44,000 miles. Replaced carpet, batteries, alternator & starter. Seems to be ready to roll. Took it our for 500 miles this week. We have 24 grandkids, 2 more on the way, 3 greats. Play golf, chess, several musical instruments, and ham radio operator. Just recently became semi-retired. Looking forward to learning a lot on this forum. We live in Waxahachie, TX. just south of Dallas. Any pointers or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Wendell

Welcome!

Welcome Wendell from Waxahachie! Well, with all of those grand children you need a MH, like the one you've got, just keep up with them ( and to take them camping!) You came to the right place to learn anything and everything you want to know about your rig. Also, there is a very active group of Airstreamers in Texas, I'm sure one of them will chime in shortly, that will lure you to one of their get-togeathers, at which you will find great companionship.
Lastly, I have been lucky enough to visit your wonderful little town - one of the prettiest in Texas! The court house, and all the gingerbread houses! WOW!

Happy New Year!
Barb

Welcome Wendell. What are the instruments that you play? Sounds like you would be great people to meet up with at a rally.
Happy to have you with us.

Instruments & Welcome

Thanks Barb & Chaplain Kent for the nice welcome. I play the piano, trumpet, guitar, tenor banjo, and a few other things. Kent, I am also an
ordained bishop, so we probably have several things in common. Wendell

Yes a hearty welcome to you. There are many of us who play both amateur and pro. Also loads of Airstream Motorhome folks. With all those grandchildren though maybe you should have gotten a bus! Hope you will enjoy your AS and our Forums.
