New member and greetings to all

Hello all

I am glad I have found this site and look forward to all the fun being part of this and learn and hopefully help when ever possible.

I purchased my first RV(2000 23 foot Airstream) in 1999 to spend months at a time dry camping at various locations through out the north and south west of the country.

I ordered it new with out knowing much about Rvs by then, with the thought, if I buy what most said was the best, I should do as good as possible.
I am glad I did so and I have enjoyed my Airstream every year since fall of 99 to this date.

I have been spending up to five months a year in it for the last thirteen plus years and it has been an awesome experience.

I have gotten by with a couple of trojan six volts ,a little Honda generator 2000,a custom build microwave below my oven, a catalytic Olympian wave 6,and hard wood floors through out.

I will look forward posting on the main forums as there is a few items I need advice on with maintenance issues as the trailer is coming of age and needs some attention to stay as new.

Best to all

Howdy and to Airforums!

Thanks for telling us your story regarding how you came to be here, we love to know all the circumstances.

The other thing we are hungry for is photos of your trailer! I bet you already have some... Care to share?

This is what Henri the Sov looks like right about now.
If it's to be, it's up to me.

You are most definitely in great company. I joined up about 18 months ago, prior to ordering my trailer and the lessons I have learned from others on this site have been invaluable. I've done some very useful upgrades, made key decisions on what hitch to buy, set-up name it. I hope at sometime I can be as helpful to others as they've been to me on AirForums.

Thank you all again for the warm response.
I look forward to be part of this great board and have tons of fun.
I need to go to the other forums for some technical advice.
