First, let me tell you about the name Tater. Every vehicle we have ever owned has a name. Our Airstream was named Tater because the first time we took it camping, the owner suggested it looked like a baked potato so the name stayed. Now we just call and tell them Tater is coming and they know exactly who it is. Now to current times, our A/S is a 22' Sport and next month we are trading for a newly ordered 25' FC. We are so excited to get the new A/S but are in an apparent long queue for manufacturing and delivery but it should be in before Christmas.
We plan to spend the night at the dealership in Atlanta, GA and return to Florida the next day. This is all the week of Christmas so let's hope everything happens as planned. We had hoped it would be in before Thanksgiving but apparently A/S is backed up on sold orders and delivery. We can't wait to get out in this unit. We loved the 22' Sport and recognize the larger unit will be a little more challenging to tow.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. Congratulations on your new baby.
We have a 25FB, named Lucy, that we have spent over 750 nights in, and towed almost 70,000 miles. We have not tired of her yet.

We hope to spend some serious time in Tater as well. I'll get some photos next month when we pick it up. Hopefully, there won't be any manufacturing delays. Thanks to all of you who post on the forums. The information is very helpful and made me go back and double check the weight limitations of my hitch and truck. We're OK on both, but did a double take to make sure.

Welcome Tater,
I guess it could pass as a giant baked potato. Congratulations and best of luck to you.

Looking at your pictures, I never would have guessed it was Georgia! That does look cold. Good luck with your new AS. We'll keep an eye out for you on the road.
