Hello members,I'm a complete novice,both with these typee things and with
Airstreams. I am from New Zealand ,but have been stateside 3 times now
and my love of Airstreams gets stronger each visit. I am a Potter and have
met Aleghany Meadows.I would love to buy a small trailer and tour the Eastern states. I have found an 18 ft Avion and wonder how much to offer for it.

Hello Renton and welcome to the Forums. You do not give a year for this Avion. There are only a few Avion owners on the boards -- and only chance would bring them online while this post is on the top of the Portal webpage. It is not really where most of our experiences lie. There is always Airstream Price vs. Condition but that only gives a ballpark answer.

There are some sources more trustworthy than others. 99.44% of owners on eBay have a vested interest in saying "it's ready to tow." How do you know what you're getting from afar in New Zealand?

I truly wish you the best. Let us know if you need moral support (or also look at Airstreams -- these shorter lengths are in the highest demand! They tow with lighter tow vehicles and are hard to find. Maybe Avion truly is less explored than Airstream.). There are volunteer inspectors but axles are so very different on Avions. Be generous in offering some costs and minor compensation...
