Thumbs up New member!

[FONT="Georgia"]Hello everyone, I just discovered this website while looking through classifieds for used Airstreams. I am interested in the RV lifestyle as I will soon be retiring. I initially plan to live in the trailer and then move around the country as time goes by. I do not have a tow vehicle or a trailer and am interested in any recommendations for starting points in my search. I am open to any and all suggestions. After reviewing several articles and youtube videos, it looks like a 30 foot size would be ideal, presently it is just me--no wife, no pet if that helps with any suggestions. I am willing to travel to find the ideal setup and would very much like to use a member to evaluate any future purchases. Thanks for reading this and for your replies

tujeeze,

Welcome to the forums. We wish you success in your search and plans. You may want to consider visiting an Airstream dealer near you. You can spend some time in different models (often both new and used) and start to get a feel for what layout would work for you. I also encourage you to read as much of the forums as possible. There are many good discussions on model type, the advantages of front bedroom or rear bedroom models, as well as options (wheel size, two Air conditioners) etc.

You can also look through the classifieds here on the forum to start to see the pricing.

Good luck and safe travels, from Pennsylvania,

Roy and Marie
