Hello all. I'm a new member. I have a 71 Land yacht Globe Trotter I purchased a few weeks ago. It will need some work. I'm not sure where to start at this point. I have towed it from the sellers place to a place 2 hours away and then back. It pulls like a dream! The driver side tail, break and turn lights did not work at all. It did not come with a battery and I have not yet located where it is supposed to go, but have not had a lot of time to look for it, yet.

I'm so glad the threads are broke down by categories. This if very helpful. I will be looking through them for tips very soon.

I guess the first thread I will look for is a checklist of items to checkout when first starting on a vintage Airstream.

I'm so excited to own an Airstream and I look forward to reading your advise and chatting with you all!

See ya in the chat threads!

I'm betting the umbilical (cord between truck and trailer) is not wired correctly. A quick google search will point you to the correct wire diagram.

Congratulations and welcome!
