new kid in town

I have just bought a 1958 "traveler" SN18D-0233.. If anyone knows of this SN history let me know. I have been dreaming for this over 3 years. I took the factory tour in 2004 really cool..I had my sons pick it up (in CA) I have not seen it yet they said it looked good..I will pick it up end of May. I will post after I get it..what forum should I post my pick up?

I don't know the history of your particular unit but can tell you the breakdown of your serial number. The 18 is the length, the D is for the double bed and the 0233 is the number of your unit as it came off the assembly line or, in other words, the 233rd one made at that plant.

Congratulations!! Sounds like you've got a great unit. I love the little Travelers. Post pics when you can.
