I am new to the forums and new to the airstream world. My wife and I just purchased a 1970 Ambassador and have already stripped it down to it's skivvies. We are doing a frame on renovation and cannot wait to bring this classic back onto the scene. I know many purists will be displeased with some of the choices we will make in modernizing our classic but I promise she is in good hands. I hope to share our renovation on this forum and will be leaning on you all heavily for advice, as this has already been a wonderful source of knowledge for us!

As others have already said, welcome to the forum. You will find many who are willing to offer advice if asked (and sometimes even if not asked). This forum has proved to be an asset to us as we have our AS now going into our third year.
We will look for progress reports on the restoration! Wishing you success and lots of fun!
BTW I also lived in Rochester Hills for about 5 years in the late '90's.
