New in New Mexico

[Airstruck]

We did it. We bought that Airstream we had been dreaming about for awhile now. We traveled here and there in our trusty Westfalia Campmobile, always taking a second look at the silver beauties we would pass, or more often, would pass us.

So, we had looked before at ads in our area and in other areas and just kept on dreaming until we came across an ad for an AS Excella 25' born in 1988. We went for a drive to check it out and now we are the proud owners.

The couple we bought it from were active members in the Albuquerque AS club, I believe. The places they had traveled are all posted in the bed room. Such a nice couple and they loved camping in the AS.

We are new to all this and are open to our new adventures. We are from Corrales NM. Can't wait to learn all about our new Excella.

We're in Albuquerque. The Four Corners Unit is a great bunch of Airstreamers.

You might consider coming up to the Restoration Rally at Enchanted Trailed RV park in ABQ 2nd weekend of June. (It's listed on the forum here) No more full hookups available, but you could dry camp OR just sign up and come for the seminars. It's all about the Airstream from the wheels up.

Maybe we'll see you there?

Thanks for the invite. We will certainly try, if we are in town. We may be heading to Villa Encantada between Angel Fire and Taos to pay a visit to our son and daughter in law.

I have been checking out website for events. The Paliza event sounds like another fun trip.

Welcome to New Mexico! My Husband Anthony and I are members of the Four Corners Unit and I am fortunate enough to be the groups recording secretary. I agree one hundred percent that we are a gas and a fun group to hang out with. We frequently have rallies here in New Mexico and in Arizona. Our next one is the Renovation Rally in Albuquerque on June 9-12th. If you are around, stop into the Enchanted Trails RV park. It is located just off of I40 west and take the Paseo De Volcun exit and make a right, then a left on the frontage road,it's next to Camping World. Hope to see you soon-Tamara
