New in Florida!
Hey, Guys and gals! Just purchased a '73, 31' Sovereign international needing tender, loving care. My wife Barbara and I are hoping to get ready for our first trip to ANYWHERE early this summer. I am a former member of Southern Gospel quartets and we hope to be able to follow this style of music concerts and just enjoy! We will be soliciting your help on this journey of repair and restoration. Love our old Airstream!!

Welcome. As a fellow Floridalander I can say you are in a great area for camping. My wife & I love the state campgrounds and go whenever we can. Hopefully we'll meet up some day.

Welcome to the Airstream life, It's just better here!! I just bought my 1973 Tradwind in Aug, love it, I can't imagine all that extra room in a Sovereign! You will find all the help you need right here. We love pics, if you got them, share them. THANKS! MPJ

Hi FLaboy67, welcome to the group. I'm sure you will have a great time in your Airstream.
FYI the big Big Bend unit of the WBCCI is having a rally in Old Town. You might want to check it out. I met a couple of their members last September. Very nice and they told us about this rally they are having on their way to the FL State rally.
Here is the info I have:

Howdy and welcome to airforums.com, Flaboy. Wow, I thought you were being shy about your town name, but there really is a place in FL call "Old Town".
Is it anywhere near "New Town"? 
So don't wait to slap some photos of your new-to-you trailer up on here, we need to ooo and aaah over it! Especially before you fix it all up like new!

Thanks AirHeadsRus for recommending Big Bend Florida Unit. As you pointed out, our next weekend Rally is Suwannee River Hideaway, Old Town, Fl. The Host are: Winston and Carol Montague 850-878-1281 or Sandy & Don Wood 850-671-2179. In the past we have eaten as a group at a local restaurant Friday night. Our host provide Saturday Breakfast and a Saturday evening meal. In March we go to State Park in Niceville, in April we go to Mobile, Ala, In May we go to Stephen Foster SP in Live Oak, Fl, September Seminole SP in Donaldsonville, Ga, October White Oak Corp at Euaula, Al and in November we go to Emerald Lake RV Resort in Colquitt, Ga. Airstream is about camping and our Unit 153 likes to camp. Join us.
