New guy here hello
just joined up and have so many great memories with my 1962 22 ft. Airstream I am retiring and have some bucks to spend, I will be looking for a 22 foot or smaller starter airstream (if there is such a thing) lol. I will be nosing around a bit so hello to all and thanks for being here.

Welcome to the forums and the airstream family. I think the classifieds on the forums are the best place to look, but I would use all sources if I were looking for one. Enjoy your search.
Tradewinds are hard to beat, but I am biased.

Welcome Wagoneer!
There are 22-foot-and-shorter Airstreams available both vintage and new. Be warned, though, competition for short vintage trailers can be pretty stiff. I think the cute factor adds to all the other addictive Airstream qualities and makes people drool for them.

We love our 25' Tradewind, which we bought through craigslist. We had to drive to Turlock, but that's not bad.
25' is long enough to be less affected by the "short and cute" price boost, and also long enough to have two axles, which offers peace of mind. It is still short enough to park in our driveway and fit into older campsites like those in Yosemite.

Welcome Waggoner! Why yes, there is such a thing as a "starter" Airstream. And the affliction is called alumnitis. Some of us have it bad, really bad. But, hey, it's cool! It's all good!
This forum is the best for all your questions. And we also like pictures. A LOT! So, happy hunting and let us know what you find.

Good luck with your search, Wagoneer! The Air Classifieds are possibly the best source for used Airstreams.
Welcome to the forum!
