Hello All,
I just bought a 1952 Silver Streak 22' Clipper. Guess what, it needs work. Gutted. Ultra clean shell. So, I'm here to start the proper restoration it deserves.
As I need to document all for the needed Appraisal it will require, I will start a a blog so join in all as I ask questions galore about things like....
What is the best way to put my trailer on jack stands for the long job ahead?
Any one suggest a good Mig welder for frame repair ?
I will post my blog info as soon as my more digitally blessed son designs it.

Welcome to the AS world. Sounds like you have quite a project ahead of you. There are many welders out there, and you will probably find even more opinions coming your way. Not knowing your budget, or how much you want to get into tools, you might want to check Eastwood.com for a complete line of welders that will be much more cost effective than some of the others out there. Ultimately you will have to decided on what you deem best and what fits your budget, skill, and future use.
