New Fulltimer

Just introducing myself. Ive had trailers for 20 years and lived in them when available. Now recently retired military, In the spirit of my grandfathers footsteps, Ive purchased my first Airstream. . An 88 excella in fair shape. Its going to be a labor of love but I always have enjoyed the projects. Ive had it for nearly 3 months at this point and allot of construction has occurred to the living areas as well as some water line repair and a new refrigerator install. So I am happy to say it is completely inhabitable at this point and the cosmetics are about to commence. I'm looking forward to documenting that project, sharing and drawing knowledge from this forum. Its good to be home!!!
~Darren.

Like the 'Casbah' look, congrats on your new home and welcome to the forums. For some reason I can't see the 'as purchased' photo you added. But your collage looks great! Wendy

Thank you Wendy. Im taking alot of design inspiration on the interior from the old gypsy vardos. As for the "as purchased pic", my apoligies I tried to add it as an attachment here with the url and cant get it to show up... nor can I delete the post..so Im sure I will figure out the navigation with time . the photos are in my gallery, I just cant get them in a thread. Okay, back to stripping decals, no matter how many cars Ive built, decals remains very low on the like to do list, but it is certainly a good exersice in patience
