I'm a new to us Airstream owner, 1985
Sovereign, looking forward to the new adventures our "silver bullet" brings us to. My wife and I already took our maiden voyage by driving 1700 miles around Lake Superior. Fantastic trip with no major issues. The trailer itself needs some work (can't do anything about the golf ball effect on the rear due to hail) but thats part of the fun.
We plan to do a complete update of the interior of our trailer (have already replaced the fridge and am now replacing the furnace). I've found the forum extremely helpful for airstream updating especially the whole recaulking and sealing areas (yes I ran into silicone in mass quantities).
Our next adventure will be a three week trip to Arizona in March. Hopefully can find decent campgrounds that will accept our older but decent looking trailer. I've recently retired and my wife is in her final year of work so look forward to many years of travel. Look forward to meeting other airstreams on the road.
