New from Missouri
My wife and I have been researching for the last six months and finally decided to pull the trigger on 2015 25' flying cloud. We have had it less than a month and already been on three trips. Camping is all I think about, is that wrong lol.

That looks sweet, I am biased though we just got one like it too. Last week we did our maiden voyage 1200 mile round trip. Towed nice with our Ram 1500.

I love the size, I bet it towed like a dream for you.
1200 miles is a good trip, we will be hitting smokey mountains and south GA soon. We have taken a couple short trips, ready for a long one.

congratulations on your new trailer!
I hope that thinking all the time about camping and "going places and doing things" isn't wrong, or I'm sick, sick, sick!!!

It's always good to see those who understand the value of a well designed, properly chosen, and adequate tow vehicle. Others, especially those new to this would do well to study this carefully.
Again, congrats, nice combo you have there. Enjoy !

We definitely learned the hard way. In the past, I found I was really not enjoying camping because of the stress of hauling too much trailer. We had a couple close calls, it really took the fun out of the journey.
I love the way our AS tows, trips are a breeze. Wish I had done it years ago.

Nice to meet you johnandgret, welcome to Air Forums. We have an 86 Limited that's been in the family since new. Airstream traveling is a lot of fun. We enjoy the adventure of it, and we enjoy not doing too much planning. Gypsy comes to mind. Maybe your new Airstream will still be in the family and on the road 30 years from now.
Just yesterday we stopped by a dealer and browsed through the new 2015 Airstreams. They are beautiful and seemingly well built. Your 25' front bed (I think) is a great layout and decor option. And it will tow very well in strong winds. The new trailers look much nicer than our old one.
Air Forums is a great place to learn about all things Airstream and traveling. Hope to see you "on line" in the future.

thanks David, we are definitely hoping to pass this on to our 12 year way down the road. AS definitely look like they are built to last. Glad there is a forum to help with all the stuff that will come up. We are in it for the long haul.
