New but yet old

Just retired April 1 and just bought a 2015 Flying Cloud.
Now, for the old. My Dad bought a 30.5 foot Sovereign in 1986 when he retired, it was unfortunately totaled when they rolled the trailer while driving in the Salt Flats. New suburban had 5 grand in damage, only a few weeks old. Being troopers, they loaded their stuff in a U Haul truck and soldiered on to Napa Valley to house sit for friends. New 1987 delivered to them. Well, fast forward too few years and I inherited the Suburban and trailer but stupidly traded the trailer for a Fleetwood truck camper, brand new that literally disintegrated with fleetwood insisting i had to be off-roading the thing and tough luck. Trading that trailer was a big mistake, and I'm so happy to be back to the airstream life many years later.
I'm picking up my trailer on Tuesday and heading to a KOA near Sarnia for a few days then on up further north to Hubbard Lake, Michigan for the holiday weekend with family.
Looking forward to years of freewheeling ahead as a solo traveler with her cardigan corgi dogs.
