Chin Up

Bill,
Keep your chin up and keep working at it slow and steady. There are lots of people here just waiting to offer encouragement, advice, and support. It may seem like a money pit, but right now you have almost $5,000.00 in it. That is pretty inexpensive to get into camping with an Airstream. Get out there and use it and all the work, time, money, blood sweat, and tears you poured into it will pay dividends far better than our 401ks will.

Well Bill you finally started your own thread congratulations. Although I'm wondering why you have made your introduction in the polling forum? Maybe one of the Mods will move it over. Glad your here and welcome.

Almost always sunny here unless there is a hurricane bearing down on you. And then it's time to hook up the burb and roll. So far I've been very lucky.

Hi Bill, I see you found a place to post and have been noticed. Branson is coming up quickly. This will be a great rally to learn about restoring your trailer. Bring pen, paper, camera and a mind like a sponge. Tools and repair parts might be helpful too. Inevitably the tool or part you don't bring will be the one that you need or breaks. Good luck one your first rally. You will have a great time.

Hi Bill,
We have family in Wichita and will be heading out that way in late June/early July. Will see if we can connect.

If the 65 was a total basket case a grand is a probably a good deal. If you could hook it up and tow it and go inside and not fall through the floor it's gravy. Send pictures!

Bill,

Nice to see you finally started a thread. We'll take good care of you at Branson...I promise.

Ford...If you are rolling through St. Louis en route then look me up.
