New Bambi 16 ccd Owner!!!

Hi everyone, we finally did it. After many months of drooling over the Bambi 16 CCD, reading this website, listening to podcast, buying books, etc; we did it and bought a new 2007. We take delivery this coming Saturday, and we can hardly wait. I just had to share it with everyone. Only A/S people can understand the overwhelming excitement...We really plan to do a lot of weekend trips. Hope to see you on the road. Angie & George...

Congratulations!

Welcome to the "club"... It is exciting to be getting a new Airstream, and you should enjoy it.. There are lots of Bambi owners who take long trips, so don't limit yourself to weekends only, unless the "work thing" gets in the way...

It is wise to consider first night in the driveway or real close to home, just so the things you forget or didn't quite remember from delivery presentation are not big deals...

Welcome

Doheny is a great choice for your first adventure. The Bambi will be right at home in any of the California State Parks.

Welcome

A big welcome to the Forums and the world of aluminitis.

Be prepared for many delays in your travels as you give interviews about your Bambi, for which you must have a name picked out before you bring her home. You must always remember that a 16' Bambi is the only creature on the planet that is cuter than a puppy.

Congratulations and welcome aboard! As a new owner of a 2006 Safari 16', I recommend that you check your shower for leaks before leaving the dealership and be sure you understand how the awning works... Enjoy!
