We have had several motorhomes, and are fairly used to the camping scene, but are new to towing and the travel trailer in general. We have a new 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a hemi, so towing is not a problem, but concerned about sway and weight distribution. Thanks to the forum, I noticed another "newbie" with the same ?? which answered mine.
Looking forward to seeing you on the road!

Make "super sure" that you have a full sway control hitch with a proper load equalizing rating.
Excessive rated hitches will damage the trailer.
Also, don't try to save a few bucks on the hitch. Get what you need, whatever the cost.
Your trailer and family will love you for it.
