New AS Member in Washington State

Just picked up a 1971 Sovereign International Land Yacht. Our family has been camping in a truck camper and finally
made the upgrade to an AS.

Overall everything seems to be in good shape. The frig and water heater have been replaced in the last 5 years along with newer tires.
At sometime someone has tossed the shag carpet. Thank goodness. So far every thing seems to work.

There are some lights that need work. I am glad that it came with the original owners manual.

Is there a way to find or chat with other AS owners in my area????

Do most people toss the TV antenna on top????? Would it be of any use to anyone?

I am glad to have found this forum and can't wait to shine up the AS up in the spring!!!!

Yes, you can find fellow Airstreamers in your area. Go to the "Community" tab and then do an advanced search. Type in Yakima in the city window, Washington in the state and bingo.

I see 22 from Yakima.
