New Argosy owner.

Hello, just wanted to say hello and show off my new to me 73 Argosy. I picked it
up and have been enjoying it very much. I have been working on the floor and bathroom. The Argosy is a rear bath and must have had a leak under the tub, so they took out the bath and never reinstalled it. I have been working on fabricating a new tub out of 16 ga mild steel and coating it. I am not sure what that will be yet. I am leaning toward a heavy chassis paint (por 15 or equivlent.) then white paint. I would have used stainless but I am glad i didn't due to the curves of the Argosy. Lots more plans but they will come with time.

Welcome to the Argosy club. I love our shiny 28' Argosy. One word of advise on POR-15 is to get it done on the first coat or while still tacky. I discovered that POR-15 will not stick to itself once dried. I love the idea of LINEX or RHINO Lining. It comes in colors and if ever an issue they will fix it. however I am not sure if it would be 100% water tight. I think it would. I dont think cost would be that far off POR15 + POR15 Primer + top coat color $$$$$.

Good luck with the project and keep us updated.
