New Argosy in San Diego

I just picked up a 73 Argosy 20 from my parents in ID and towed it back to San Diego. It's the same one I grew up in as a kid, the 'Rents offered it up and I was somewhat surprised that my wife said yes.

It's mostly still stock with original furnishings, some of which need replacement. Dad and I spent several days fixing some leaks and took it to State Trailer in Pocatello for some additional work...I'm not to happy with their work, but I'll give them an opportunity to make it good before I complain in public.

We camped in the Uintas (UT) the first night, and at Valley of Fires park (NV) second night. Due to traffic, we diverted off the I-15 at Vegas and took the state roads down to Yuma and I-8.

There's still some work to be done now that I got it home; I expect I'll be talking to some of you soon.

New Argosy

Good Luck with your new Argosy. We have owned 2 Argosies- we are coming to the end of renovating our 24' 1978 Argosy, and we sold the 1977 Argosy recently. Ours is a CA made Argosy- check your VIN and search on the forum here how to decipher your VIN, and maybe the original paper work if you have it? I am happy to have a west coast rig because it does not have the rust and mildew issues our East Coast Argosy had. Welcome to the Forum...
