Welcome, you have come to the right place for knowledge. Like any other internet site some of it will be good and some not so good. The trick is telling the difference.

We are looking also and the three decisions seem to be front vs. rear bedroom, twins vs. queen, and ducted air vs. non-ducted (if you are considering used).

We too are looking for our first Airstream. Be sure to use the Search function for your individual questions because most perhaps all of them will have been addressed at length. I know the front v. rear bedroom issue is well addressed, as is recliners v. sofa. Check our RV Direct for a build-your-own Airstream with a long list of options. It gives you MSRP but they will email you a quote within minutes. I "built" a Flying cloud 30 and their discount off MSRP was 19.4%. Search Google under "Airstream option price list" and you'll find an Airforum thread where a spreadsheet has been posted comparing costs of the various models.
