Here's a photo of my Caravel
next to the White Clay Creek where I live. So far. I got the stove to work and when it was 23 degrees outside I got it up to about 45 degrees on the inside while I puttered around.
Today I tried to light the furnace. I got a very weak pilot light, but it was so small--and it wouldn't stay lit. The manual says I may need to clean the orfice to the pilot. Should I be messing with this heater or is it just too old? Is the best replacement another hydro-flame or one of the little catalytic jobs?
I got the lighting to work today. I took all the wires in the transformer apart and re attached them with new wirenuts. I could not get 12v
lighting to work until I attached my battery. I guess it must have to be in place for the circuits to be completed? The circuit that provides power to the fan doesn't seem to be working. I get no voltage reading on the fuse on the side of the control box.
