New Airstreamer

Hello to everyone--
I have had my Airstream for about three weeks. It is a 1984 31' Excella. I haven't even pulled it yet, but can't wait to give it a try. I have to get a brake contoller and the proper wiring hook-up on my '95 Tahoe, before we can take her on the maiden voyage. I have been cleaning and tweaking and getting ready, but will have to wait a few weeks before we can actually go camping. We have "camped" a few nights already in the back yard. I will have a lot of questions for you all. Talk to you soon--

Mike

Congrats, Mike, and welcome to the forums! It sounds like you have a good trailer/tow vehicle combination, and I know you will enjoy the heck out of using your Excella. You were very smart to camp in the back yard--that way you find possible issues while at home near your tools and resources.

We love to see pictures, so please post some if you can! We are all fascinated by big shiny metal things (and painted/fiberglass ones, too!) here...

Welcome Mike! We need all the Mid-west Streamers we can get. Where is Orleans? We are 40 mi. east of Fort Wayne.

We (Orleans) are about 90 miles due south of Indianapolis--or about 55 miles northwest of Louisville, Kentucky.
