New Airstreamer

Hi, I am a new member and new owner of two airstreams. In January I bought a 1975 31 foot soveriegn to fix up for a rental. Just last week I found a 1979 airstream motorhome conversion. Has anyone heard of a "Bohmer Reed". It is a 28 foot I think. Front wheel drive with the engine side mounted under the galley. It needs a complete restoration, but it is so cool I could not pass it up. I have restored a Glastron motorhome and would not part with it, so I am somewhat project savy. My wife thinks I am crazy, and she is probably right.

Thank you. I am exicted about the new project but have a couple in progress to complete first. Gotta go get my yard work done so I can have time for the fun stuff. I will check back soon.

Welcome to the Forums sunryzcove from fellow Texan and Airstream enthusiasts. We were searching for a good deal on a late model Classic when about two months ago Jimmy found a Square Stream he just fell in love with and had to have. We are still looking for the Classic but we are having fun working on this one until the "real" thing comes along. I can certainly understand the "one not being enough" mentality and if you're crazy Jimmy is too. Have fun with your projects. We'll be interested in seeing your motorhome conversion.
