new airstream owner

i just picked up a 1966 overlander in fair condition from florida and just hauled it all the way to pocono pa. in a snow storm lol . i am really looking forward to restoring it and i hope that i will be able to meet some people with some good ideas and some knowledge on how i can accomplish this . i was surprised that all i needed was some tires to get this old girl home there are no leaks in her but the dark water tank busted out of the mounts from the bouncing on the way home .

Congrats on your new adventure. You will meet a lot of great people in these forums. I know I have posted in a panic, while mid way into a project, and they have always come to my rescue. I think first pulls always breaks something. Last year on our first pull a bottle fell out of the rear lav bath and smashed through the plastic sink. First thing on the list of many items to fix. But it is great fun and a great way to get you through winter.
