New Airstream owner!
Hello Everyone, and Happy New Year.
I have recently purchased a 71 Overlander that has changed hands quite a bit over the years. Unfortunately, (or fortunately) this thing was as close to gutted and livable as possible. Only a sink and stove top with an extremely overbuilt twin bed and a bombed out bathroom remained. Good thing is that I had a friend who owned it for about 2 years a while back and he did a good amount of maintanence on it until he sold it. I guess the person that bought it from him really wanted to "rough it" and "cleaned" it out.
At anyrate, my girlfriend and I tore a truck bed full of junk out of it (prescription meds to old mattresses) and we are ready for a renovation. I am using a couple of airstreams from Hofarc.com as my inspiration.
I will/do have a lot of questions and will post them in the pertinent locations when the time comes. Just wanted to say hi!
