New Airstream Geek!
Well, actually, Im not new to airstream geekhood, im just new to the forum. Anyway, about me, I am from california, and I am obsessed with airstreams. I have had use of my friends 1958 Traveler for a long time and now it is *mine* Yay!!! It spent one winter with windows open, but strangely, that is a good thing because I am having a lovely time making new cabinets for it to replace the moldy warped ones... I am just not really sure how to attatch them to the walls... More research...
My very favorite airstream is a 1970 Caravel. I want one really bad!!! I posted an ad, and if anybody knows of anyone selling one, I would love to hear about it. I know they are fairly rare, and there arent tons of people on this site that have one, and they probably wont ever give them up. Someday my prince will come!
Anyway, that's me in a nut shell!

Phoenix, hi and welcome to the forums! We have an 18 footer just a couple years newer than yours - have spent quite a bit of time fixing it up as well.

Don't lose heart in your search for your '70 Caravel - many people here have found their dream trailers by putting the word out there. Good luck!

Welcome aboard! Finding this forum is like starting to work on your Airstream PHD. Yup! It will take a while to work your way through the many post. Chance are most common problems streamers run into are discussed. We're always ready for new problems, solutions, ideas, and heck, we even like hearing about other peoples mistakes I am thinking I've found the hardest ways to do the easiest tasks
