New Airstream delivered today

Our new Serenity 28 will be delivered to our dealer today, and we will pick it up next Wednesday. Wife and I are super-excited ! Our Atlanta area dealer, Southland, has been great to work with, and excellent communication throughout. Looking forward to posting here with real Airstream experience...

Give my regards to Brett. We've bought two trailers from Southland, the second a big move up to a Flying Cloud 28. They're good folks.

We also got our Classic 30 from them last July and agree they were awesome to work with.

We also had a good experience with Southland. They're very thorough in their PDI and orientation. Enjoy! It will be a fun learning experience.

Great to hear your new Airstream is nearly in your hands. It's been a long wait. Yes, please do post your initial Airstream experiences.

Have some patience. Sometimes adjustments to your trailer are needed. Southland techs will take good care of you.

We picked up our new Serenity 28 as scheduled last Wednesday. Southland RV had it prepped and ready. Spent about 4 hours going over every system and feature, with a knowledgeable tech. No issues. Fantastic buying experience. Expedition tows it easily ( I will be weighing it to confirm payload). We spent a few days on the driveway finding a home for everything, and went camping Friday for the weekend at West Point Lake. Great weather and first camping experience with the new rig. We could not be happier with our purchase and service from Southland RV.

Tag line

Brick,

Congratulations! Glad you are already enjoying your trailer!

You need to modify your tag line...no longer on order.

Gee brick1, I didn't see your pictures of your new Airstream's maiden voyage.

We just got back from a trip to the desert southwest in our 33 year old Airstream. It has been on many, many trips throughout the years. It is still going strong. So I'll post a picture first, and you can upstage me. The desert is nothing like your lush, green Georgia lake.

Update - we are just finishing a week in Panama City Beach in our new Airstream. Everything working great. No system issues. No leaks. Will need a good bath when we get home...
Also replaced my 2016 Expedition with a 2018 F250 Diesel. The Expy was OK for pulling power, but short on payload. The F250 is awesome.
Could not be happier with our new Airstream and the service from our dealer Southland RV in Atlanta.

Weeeeeee!!!!

Hey, congrats and welcome to the club

more photos please!!

I live in Birmingham....I got my trailer new 5 years ago at Foley over in MS, its a haul for me...thankfully right now I have no maintanence needs, but I am trying to keep my ear to the ground at dealers close by...last I checked there is a new one near me in Birmingham and now in ATL? cool...seems like good reviews so far....let me know of good and bad experiences there. I prefer to stick with my original dealer for service stuff in the future, but my gawd its a long haul for me to for example get seals inspected, breakes, etc...

Good luck on your travles...where did you stay down in PCB?
