Nervous Newbie

Hi everyone! So proud and psyched to call myself a "new" vintage Airstream owner! My family and I have grown out of our 1993 eurovan westfalia and purchased a 1963 overlander. Not sure where to begin!! We are planning on towing with a Lincoln navigator. Need to get electronic braking system installed. Any advice or recommendations is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

If running gear ok, check all systems, lights, brakes, water and LP supply, all works? Go camp!
Peace and Blessings..

Welcome tot he forums!

Go to the "Portal" tab at the top of the page, and then look for the buyer's inspection checklist. This checklist will help walk you through your trailer and help you to evaluate the condition of the trailer. After that, it is just a matter of prioritizing what to fix first. Address the items that are a safety consideration first, the comfort related items can be done as you go.

good luck!
