My first post !

I just wanted to say 'hi' to all forum members. We recently towed home our first airstream, a pretty beaten-up '57 Overlander named 'Naddy'. She will be renovated for our little 11 months old baby girl to go on lots and lots of camping trips.
I will start a thread about Naddy's renovation in the '1957 Overlander' subforum soon because - if you can believe it - I have many questions. For now, I just want to say 'thank you' in advance to all of you. We would never have embarked on this journey if it wasn't for the infinite wisdom and advice found in this forum.

Sweet looking 13 panel Airstream. More pictures please especially the inside.

You have great taste.

Not sure about the great taste. Yes the trailer is wonderful but certainly not its current condition... So with great reluctance, I post some images of the inside because I thought we put pretty pictures up here and not the ugly truth.
Our plan is to largely keep the original layout but modify the bathroom (no wet bath for us, need a proper bath tub for the 1-year old new owner). We also plan to tech her out quite a bit. This is 2013! There are 2 things we love: the upper bunk bed and the Princess stove. Some veneer can be saved some needs to be rebuilt.

You will have so many good times with your daughter, don't spend all your time working on the unit becasue time flys. Our college age son still camps with us every chance he has, it is a long term investment in great family fun.

Naddy - did I see some really pretty pictures before you posted these ones? What were the others from?

Nice trailer!

Awesome if you have that since of adventure that you appear to have! Remember take lots of picture as you disassemble for your own reference. Then save everything until you get her back together for templates and whatever. Looks like many hands have tried some sort of upgrade and never wasted time on cleaning. Looks like a shell off which means bracing and lots and lots of patients! There are many experts that have been there and done that on the forums ask for advice and they will give it. I have ask many questions and received lots of help here. Biggest thing of all DON'T get discouraged! Do you have a harbor freight close by? Enjoy and if yes she is a cutie.
