Hello to whoever reads this. I have just purchased a 73 Airstream , Trade Wind, 25'. I was looking for what seemed to be forever (actually 6 months) but patience is a virtue. I purchased it for bargain basement price of $1000.00. It needs a total restoration, but for that price its worth the effort. Washed all the moss off with my 10 yr old daughter today, and it looks like a winner! Plans are to completely gut inside and fix all leaks, new insulation, repair or replace floors (yet to be determined). things not going back in are the stove w/ oven because I can't see me baking a cake in there especually since the rat nest i pulled out of it stunk so bad. I can see, either a countertop hotplate or a 2 or 3 burner stove top insert. The current refrigerator will probibly be replaced with a smaller unit. yet to determine functunality of furnace and water heater. seen instant waterheaters on ebay for $180.00. I will leave you with some pics, and hope to read more and make progress

Welcome to the forums! And congratulations on your new trailer. I like Tradewinds because of the galley streetside. Is yours that way. There is lots of info here for your resto. Enjoy!!
