More new guys - 62 Tradewind

My wife and I collect 50s and 60s "stuff" so when we decided to get into camping, we advertised locally for a 1969 or older camper. We ended up buying a 1962 Trade Wind only 13 miles from home. It's nothing too fancy, but we love it. My wife made new curtains and cushions and we now have everything working. We still have a way to go and haven't even started polishing yet.
Had a weak moment a couple of weeks ago and bought another Airstream, a 1967 Safari. A guy was passing through town, needed money in a bad way, had this camper to sell and so we got a heck of a deal. My wife says we can't have two Airstreams in the driveway at one time, so the second is in a buddy's barn until I can get to it. It's pretty nice inside and out, very complete, but needs a ton of cleaning and perhaps some appliance work.
This forum has already helped us. Thanks!!

Hi retrocats, and welcome! You certainly have good taste - we have a '67 Safari and just love it! I don't understand why you can't have both Airstreams in the driveway at once, though - do you need a bigger driveway? Please post pictures when you can -we LOVE pictures.

Welcome to the forums, times two. What a deal you just start off with Airstreams and now you have two.
