Hi,
We're Mark & Peg of rural Montana.
We've had our '74 Excella for around 8 years now...can't believe its been that long. We love him. His name is "Speedy" after his previous owner.
Some of you may have know the gentleman, Speedy. He sold us our unit at a very good price because he knew we weren't tire kickers nor were we wanting to use his Airstream as a stepping stone to a different unit.
Our Speedy is original, only the carpet has changed once. Think we might move to the floating wood floor one of these years.
We have a goal of 2014 to start serious traveling. We will see how the "economy" is by then. I know I am getting too old for Montana winters...
Anyway, we figured it was time to get on the rally circuit and join WBCCI also.
To the wannabe's IT WILL HAPPEN when you find the right one. We can check on anything here in the area around Billings if you see something you are interested in around here.
As I navigate around this forum I will eventually find the place to put in a picture of our "castle" Speedy.
Hello CanoeCalm. Welcome to the forums! We'd love to see pictures of your baby. Forums 101 - posting, accounts, basics will lead you to many helpful pointers. You might post a photo of your Excella in an avatar to appear alongside your posts, in your personal profile, in a thread (this thread?) or in your gallery. Post any questions back here. Again, a hearty welcome!
thanks for the welcome.
ahemm, I should explain my "handle" before I go further.
It's an oxymoron...there's nothing calm about a canoe ride...
there are those who have mastered the narrow hollowed tree; not I...only a Whaler, the safest boat in the water, will do.
Thanks again for the warm welcome.
Peg
