Mew member & first time poster

We are Don and Lou, and have purchased an '06 Safari 25 plan A. I pulled it to Tennessee from upstate NY last Thursday. It pulled amazingly well.

Thanks to this forum for the learning about AS. I've already learned that the refrigerator had a recall, and that has been done. There are many old hands here that willingly share information. Maybe as we go along we can add some too.

We have a couple of things that will take up February, so March will be our first chance for camping.

PS: Hi Janet and Andy R. you seem to be everywhere I go.

Hi Don and Lou,

Glad to have you with us. I've spent a lot of time spelunking and mountain bike riding in Chattanooga. Great place.

Glad to have you with us.

Kevin

Hi Don and Lou, welcome to the forum and greetings from central KY (central FL until the big thaw). If you don't have a Federal Senior Pass (and you qualify, you may be too young ) it's good for discounts at Federal parks.

We took ours for a shakedown in late March / early April, gave us a chance to check out the furnace, heat pump and A/C, all on the same 3 day stay. Congratulations on the acquisition.

Thanks for the welcomes. I had to grin a little, Rich, at the comment about being too young for the Senior Pass. Both Lou and I got a lifetime Golden Age Passport about 12 years ago. No 30 amp service here, so the furnace is checked out. It works great. Too cold for a heat pump.

Welcome to the Airstream community. They are iconic travel trailers sure to draw special attention where ever you go in this beautiful country of ours. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we have ours.

Someday you'll have to trek to Jackson Center and tour the factory where they make this things. It is very interesting. And plan on a local rally or two. They're great fun too.

Use these forums to get your questions answered, and you may want to help others with their questions too.

Hi from AZ. . . welcome to our clan from a former Atlantan ! Hope you'll join the WBCCI & attend a rally near you or two or five. Other local AS owners are great resources for us all. . . And if you head West, drop in to a 4CU Rally, we do have good time ! safe travels, Craig
