Hello everyone! And thank you for the welcome aboard's.
We, Jeff and Nancy, have just purchased a 1975 31ft. Sovereign and have already completely gutted it including interior wall liner panels and insulation.
We are going to do a shell off frame restoration including torsion and brakes.
I am a general contractor here in Tennessee and also have experience in building Prevost tour busses for entertainers (family business) so I think we can handle this.
I am looking for any and all tips on shell removal as this is a 31ft. and I welcome ideas on lifting the shell from the frame.
Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard! We have absolutely NO experience with reconstruction but recently came across a thread you may be interested in- Rescuing my childhood '62 GT, or something like that- it is fairly recent- if I knew how to tag it, I would - sorry. They did a shell off and have some great pics- great story too- he found his family's old globetrotter on Craig's List and now Dad and Son are rebuilding- there are probably many other good threads here on that sort of thing...good luck , keep smiling and post lot s of pix!
