Picking up the '77 International Sovereign on Monday. New to campers and thought I'd start with a piece of Americana. Primary use will be at hunting camps.

Had to look up where Rosepine is. You're not too far from Sam Rayburn Lake in Jasper, Tx. There will be an airstream rally at Mill Creek Park on the shore of Sam Rayburn Lake in early November. Check out this thread:

If you're interested in meeting some fellow Airstreamers, and you have the time, you might want to check it out!

If your intended use is mainly at hunting camps, you must name your trailer "notadeer" (or maybe "notaduck" depending on what you normally hunt) and paint the name on the sides of the trailer in hunter's orange. In small letters, not billboard-sized. Bullet holes in an Airstream are expensive to fix.

I'll be very busy that weekend. I'm a member of the Military Affairs Committe of Vernon Parish and we'll be executing OPERATION GRATEFUL NATION where we'll be celebrating our veterans, active duty service members, and their Families. The focus is welcoming home our Vietnam veterans! If you're coming through Leesville on 10 NOV between 10am and 4pm, feel free to stop by. It'll be held at the fairgrounds on LA 8- right on the way to the lake.
