Here is what you click on to attach photos. Check the size before you try it, they have size limits of 3M per photo. I open mine Microsoft Picture manager and Edit, Compress, Web Pages to shrink them.

Looks like a mansion compared to our 25'. I hope you'll still talk to us shorties.

I don't think Barb cried, but she was very emotional about it. It is a normal thing and you will calm down.

Will look for you in Yellowstone next summer!

You won't believe how much you like Airstreaming. We bought ours well used to get a "taste" of aluminitis and, 7 years and 50000+ miles later, still smile every time we hook up.

Enjoy,

Mike

Have a Great Thanksgiving! Tie an anvil to your ankle when leaving the Airstream otherwise you might float up into the outer atmosphere.

We are loving this AS! Had a Thanksgiviing buffet on the counter. Everyone ate inside and we were all comfortable. Cooked in the oven and it all came out wonderful. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for......34' to be exact!

maiden voyage

We are back from our maiden voyage. It was everything we hoped for and more. Very comfortable....our daughter said it felt like we were in a hotel instead of a camper. Glad we made the decision to "do it!" Thank you everyone for the congrats!

According to my Father-in-law, our ASes are NOT campers...they are mobile HOMES.

updates

Thought I'd pop in and update our "blog."

I stand corrected; we DO have a mobile HOME, not a camper. It does not feel like we are "camping" anymore....but I am NOT complaining!

We have taken our airstream "HOME" out at least 5 times since our maiden voyage at Thanksgiving...sometimes just for a 'QUICKIE' overnight fix.

This past weekend we went to Hillsborough River State Park. We had a great time with our 15 year old daughter, and met another AS couple...as well as three others who stopped by to say how they always wanted to have an AS....

The AS is a conversation piece, and people love to look inside..(just like I like to look inside other AS.) I need to remember that and keep it picked up just in case we have "visitors!"

Well, long story short, we DO NOT regret getting this AS...we have loved every minute in it, and can't wait for our trip to Yellowstone this summer. I hope our daughter will have wonderful memories of our adventures in our AS, otherwise known as our MOBILE HOME!
