looking for our first

hello to all
we have been looking and looking for an older airstream to buy. hard to come by in our neck of the woods here in ohio. we have happended across a couple but they needed too much work. the size we are interested in is from 22ft to 26ft, tamdem axle. but not a rear bath.
if anyone knows of anyone in ohio or neighboring states who is selling an airstream, please contact us with a location.
very grateful for any help.

It will be hard to find a vintage traielr that has s center bath. You might find side/rear bath layouts, but the rear bedroom/center bath layouts weren't really popular until the 90's.
You're specifying tandem axle, which will put you in the 70's. That happened to be rear bath mecca......

Don't Reject Rear Baths...

My wife and I have had both, and we really prefer rear baths. I know they have a bad rap and have become blamed for frame separation. This is too bad. I inspected a 70 something mid-bath Sovereign 31' a couple months ago, and found significant frame separation.

I am convinced that Inland Andy has it right. Frame separation can be caused by a combination of factors, and the two biggest culprits are corrosion of the frame bolts caused by water penetration and vibration caused by out-of-balance running gear.
