Looking for an experienced Airstream owner in/near Denver.

Hi all,

I'm seriously considering downsizing and going fulltime at the end of next year. I have never owned an RV of any kind. I hear Airstream trailers are the best built.

I'm looking for someone experienced with the pitfalls of vintage Airstream trailers as I would be customizing one for my own needs.

Basically, I'll bring over the frosty adult beverages of your choice and you can spend some time talking about your trailer to someone who will listen to every word.

To quote George Carlin. You will want a place for your Stuff. While Airstreams will meet your interior needs quite well there is very limited storage for the things you will want of the outdoors. Consider a pickup with some form of cap for the generator and the fishing gear.

As for the price/valve consideration I would look around the late 80s and early 90s. The vintage years often bring some serious reconstruction, the floor, with them.

Just mail a Coors to me.

Thanks. I think I'm a a point in my life where I don't like my stuff very much.

Looking for a 4x4 van, actually.

The 2 big pitfalls would be rear end separation, and/or bad axles.
