Hi! We're Sharon and Don Stein, and along with our Rat Terrier, Zoe, and our Shichon, Lucy, we're considering getting into the Airstream lifestyle. We've toured the country on our motorcycles for the last dozen years or so, and for various reasons we're thinking about a lifestyle switch. As with many other aspects of our lives, we're finding out that there is an awful lot to learn about Airstreams and the lifestyle that surrounds them. Thanks for your patience with us. We look forward to all the help we can get.

Regards, Don

As a fellow 'Hog Pilot' let me be the first to welcome you. Keep in mind that just because you add an AS to your inventory, you don't need to give up the Hog.

Welcome from the Florida Panhandle

First off, welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.

I, too, am an H-D aficionado from way way back. In the late 60's and early 70's I rode professionally compliments of the City of Tallahassee Police Department. That was the most wonderful time of my life. I was young, fearless, and abundantly stupid. To top it off, I could ride as fast as I wanted. I am fortunate to have made it through those years.

We have been Airstreaming for almost three years now. We've done over 40,000 miles and 350 nights now, and still love it. It has been a real adventure.

You've found the right place for all things Airstream.

Airstreams are kind of the Harley Davidsons of the RV world.

Jet Pilot to Hog Pilot -- welcome! You'll find much to make you happy in an Airstream. If you are inclined to restoration or things mechanical, a vintage Airstream is just the ticket to keep you busy, happy, and broke.

So when is this..."old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
