Lookin for info!!!!

Hello to one and all, Just started looking for a travel trailer, but really have liked Airstreams for a long, long time. My best friend of a little more than 40 years(my wife) and I have been doing some craft shows locally here in NJ but would like to broaden our horizons, so to speak, and I thought a small trailer would make road trips a bit more fun and easier too. I have an F-250 4X4 for a tow vehicle. I kind of like the new 17' Sport but haven't seen one in person as of yet. There's a RV Show in Atlantic City the end of the month that we hope to attend cause there are supposed to be quite a few Airstreams there. Meanwhile, does anyone have one and how do you like it? Any info and guidance will be greatfully appreciated. Thanks, Les in NJ

Les,

If you like the sport, you will be infinately happier with the 22'. The 17' has a single bed, and is VERY close inside.

Welcome to the forums! If you look at the blue toolbar you will find a search function. You might give it a try to key in the 17' Sport or the exact name of the model you are interested in. I haven't seen one either... I do know they have some new models that are "narrower" much like the vintage models. We have a 1963 Bambi that is 16' from hitch to bumper and love the little thing! You might also see if there are any rallies in your area before too long and attend... you might not see the one you are looking for, but you will get to talk to Airstreamers and get everyone's take on what is good/bad/and ugly... If you are planning on doing some real travel with distance you might also check out this thread, has good food for thought.

Good luck!
