Talking Just jumped in...

Hello,

My name is Tyler Hanson and I just found, and bought, a great airstream. I've loved them from a distance for a while and decided 2 months ago to make it all happen. When my fiance put me in charge of finding the place we would stay on the night of our wedding I started thinking...can't drive too far, need a nice place w/ some romance...AIRSTREAM. It felt perfect. After an intense search I ended up getting one that wasn't even for sale. The PO had her parked out behind his barn perched above a country road that I frequently drive. The sun was setting just so and I caught a shine in my eye, so I stopped and inquired. A woman came to the fence and told me that her husband had grand plans to restore it, but that his health along with a list a mile long of other projects might keep him from getting around to this one. I left my # and went on my way. I was back the next three fridays and have made a quite interesting friend...but that story is too long. The airstream that my new friend has sold me looks to be a 1959 22' model CA made w/ a double bed layout. He thinks its a Flying cloud, and it may be. I started a thread asking for help identifying her. Now I need to find out how to post pictures...

Thanks
Tyler

Welcome to Airforums, Tyler! And congratulations on your find, both of an interesting trailer, and a new friend.

It's funny how often that happens around an Airstream...

Talking Hellooooo Peter!

Hey, Peter! Welcome to the forum!

Let's see some pictures of that "lonely" 27 FB, willya? And how in heck were you ever able to not get away in it, even once since last August??

Jeepers, even a trip to see the leaves last September would have been nice, wouldn't it? After all, they don't call Québec "La Belle Province" for nothing!
