Smile Just joined in Austin, Texas

Hi Everyone! I'm determined to buy an airstream (late '60's through late'70's) and three I have chosen in the last three days have been sold right before I could grab 'em. Looking forward to discussing with you all the ins and outs of what I'm embarking on!

You might try attending a local club event, get to know some of the AS owners near you, and talk Airstream with them. You will have a lot of fun and pick up some good tips on Airstreams. There is also a group of Airstream folks getting together in San Marcos this week.

Spitfire78, Welcome to the forums! You have found the right place for all things Airstream. Dig in and find all the information you need. Good hunting and best of luck on finding your "new" Airstream! I will add a little humor here since you are from Texas.... Years ago my son Michael was taking a History final in high school and one of the questions on the test was... Who died at the Alamo with Travis and Bowie. My son was just a tad perplexed as he could not think of this great Americans name so instead he wrote... "I cannot remember his name but in the movie he was played by John Wayne!" He got half credit for his answer! Ha! I would guess that that remark would have gotten a laugh out of Davy Crockett too! Happy Trails, Ed

Welcome! I'm in Austin as well. Central Texas has some great Airstreamers. The THLU chapter of WBCCI is very active and full of helpful, friendly folks. Texas Highland Lakes Unit

Be sure to let us know a little more about what you're looking for so if something pops up that you may not have found, we can let you know about it.

Following are what I consider to be good sources for searching for Airstreams:

- Airstream Trailer Classifieds - Airstreams Trailers For Sale
