Smile Just joined, from Ontario. Happy to find this site!

Just purchased our first AS after many years of camping, cottaging and trailer rentals. We love our 19' Flying Cloud, a pre-owned 2015 in like-new condition (spared the cost of depreciation!). Thank you to all of you well-seasoned owners, the info on this site is very helpful. We have been testing out all of the components in the driveway and are excited for our maiden voyage to Algonquin Park next weekend! Still editing our checklist . Can anyone suggest the best checklist on this site for Bambis?

Welcome gentlefocus, enjoy your new AS. We are currently camping in Ottawa (Kanata actually) and may drive through Algonquin on our way home to Ramara tomorrow. The Fall colours should be amazing as they are currently showing as 100% (at peak) with a 20% drop.

Welcome! We're spending our last weekend of the year at Long Point (you'll be glad to have a furnace at Algonquin next weekend &#128523. We'll winterize on Monday (my six year old's starts back up next weekend), and I'll mope until May, haha. Welcome aboard! The three of us love our '15 sport 22fb. Greetings from The Big Smoke!

Welcome from Colorado. You are an official Airstreamer now. You can google search these Forums and find various checklists. We use one for "departing" both items on the outside of the trailer, like "door locked", and on the inside, like "water heater off". Other checklists include items to bring with you on your trip. Our Airstream has been in the family for 30 years.

Enjoy your maiden voyage before winter sets in.

Welcome. Enjoy Algonquin! The colors should still be great. We were there last year for the fall colors and left on the Thanksgiving Sunday. What a zoo that was. Both sides of #60 parked on both sides of every trail head for a half a km. And at the west gate traffic was stopped all the way to the Oxtongue Park At least you are there after all of the crowds are gone.

One word of advice is keep your water tanks filled. One fall camping trip there all of the parks water lines were frozen and no water was to be had. Not even for flushing the tanks upon leaving. If it looks like it is below zero then stock up on water. You never know.

gentlefocus,

Great photo of your first trip.

To both you and AngelStreamn: Welcome from Pennsylvania and we're confident you'll enjoy your many journeys. The folks here on the forums are extremely helpful and knowledgable when questions arise.
