Just joined :-)

We just joined the forum and we will be glad to get as much information as possible from this great site. We just purchased an Airstream 31 Ft. Sovereign and we are currently looking for help in repairs and work done to it. We are from Miami Fl. so if anyone has any information on who or what company can help us out... We would greatly appreciate it.

Ah Grasshopper!
What year is your Sovereign. Don't be surprised if someone tells you it needs axles. You will understand in time.

You can start looking for parts at Inland RV, Vintage Trailer Supply and Out of Doors Mart or play the ebay game.

Where are the photos?

Hello and welcome,

Down at SW 236th and US1 you'll find K+K RV Parts and Service. Nice people, decent assortment of generic RV supplies (stove parts, towing gear.....). About a half-mile farther south on US1 (on the west side) is an outfit called Campout (? or something like that) that also has lots of parts. Don't know about their service department.

For your first shakedown, I highly recommend John and Penny Thompson Park -- it's on Eureka Drive (SW 184th Street) west of the Turnpike. Full service sites, easy to get into. Near to parts/supplies if something doesn't work.

John Pennekamp is nice but a challenge for a newbie (tight turns, challenging backing). Curry Hammock State Park in Marathon is a great destination (if you can get in). Flamingo in Everglades National Park is fun from November to mid-March but otherwise is uninhabitable due to mosquitoes.

Have fun

mike
