Just got home with our new 07 Interstate "B"
On inspection and walk through the only items needing attention were 2 ceiling light fixtures needed to be replaced (had to order) and 2 small nicks in paint. On the way home the van seemed to track nice and straight but, when going in a straight line the steering wheel is at an angle instead of centered. Hope this is not difficult to fix as it is about 100 miles to the dealer. The Dodge Sprinter manual is also missing. These things are pretty minor so all is well.
We just love this MH. Just the right size and we plan on getting ALOT of use out of it. Can't wait til next weekend. First "adventure" to a state park. Only one night (work schedule) but we are like 2 little kids waiting for Santa! I am 55 and wife is 66 and we feel like we have found a way to be kids again. May sound silly but, we don't care....having to much fun!

Yet another Virginian!
Welcome!
I'm in Virginia Beach. Have LOTS of fun in your new interstate. A bad day Airstreaming IS better than a good day doing anything else.

Another welcome to the forums!
I would guess that the front end is out of alignment just a tad is the reason for the steering wheel being off of level, either that or a toe end out or some other minor adjustment that needs to be made. Probably cheaper to take the van to your Dodge dealer or other alignment specialist and pay for it yourself than to drive all the way to your Airstream dealer.

I know you'll enjoy your new toy! If the truck is tracking staight (not pulling to one side) the centering of the steering wheel should just be an adjustment. It should have been centered after the alignment was completed. Have fun!!

Our Sprinter tracks true and tire wear is fine after 15,000 miles but our steering wheel seems a tad turned to the right.

Strange.........have your alignment checked next time you go to the Sprinter dealer. Mine is dead center and has been for 85,000 miles.
Wait 'till you get over 50K and the engine really starts to smooth out

Who fixes what
Your van is warrenteed by Dodge - so for the things that were originally part of the van, take it to Dodge. Airstream guarantees the conversion - just the things that they added or modified.
Having said that, alignment is generally considered to be a wear and tear item - but if you van did it from the first mile, I would call your dealer and ask them to pay for an alignment you have done locally.
I have a Gulfstream sprinter conversion with about a year on it and 25,000 miles. You will grow to love the sprinter, it is just a great vehicle.
