NEW MEMBER CAN'T TYPE WELL AND NEVER CHATTED 'ONLINE' BUT GOT THE AIRSTREM BUG 'BAD'. OWNED AN 04 16 FT LOVED IT BAMBI USED IT ONCE AND DECIDED IT WAS AN EXCESS ITEM AND SOLD. NOW BOUGHT LAKE PROPERTY AND AM GOING TO TEAR DOWN EXISTING UNLIVEABLE CABIN AND PUT IN AN 07 -08 CCD 27 -28 FT. AND LIVE THE HIGH LIFE FOR 5- 10 YEARS THEN BUILD THE LAKE HOME OF OUR DREAMS ---WHAT DO YOU THINK??

Your plan sounds like a great idea. Will you take it traveling or will it be just for the lake? When you get the trailer post some pics.

Welcome to the forums!

If your plan is to just leave the trailer at the lake, you might consider getting a park model trailer.

It seems kind of a waste (and a shame) to just park a nice new AS. They seem to hold up better when they're used for what they're designed for: traveling.
